Staging the Sace: Zoroastrian Memory, Migration, and Identity

Building on an Artist-in-Residence Fellowship and SOAS Gallery exhibition, this project transforms oral histories and visual memories of UK-based Zoroastrian diaspora communities into a co-created theatre performance. Centred on the Parsi Sace, sacred ritual objects that sustain cultural memory across generations and geographies, the project runs three memory-gathering workshops, three public theatre readings with facilitated dialogue, and produces an impact report. It aims to increase public understanding of minoritised faith practices and foster intergenerational reflection on migration, identity, and belonging.
